Indonesian Students Welcome President Prabowo in Singapore

The visit of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to Singapore for the National Day celebrations left a profound impact on Indonesian students studying in the Lion City. Meeting President Prabowo made them feel connected to their homeland, evoking a sense of being back in Indonesia. Four students from the Singapore Institute of Management, Belinda, Donata, Daniel, and Ardi, were among those who had the opportunity to interact directly with the President. This encounter was more than just a casual meeting; it served as a heartfelt reminder of their national identity. Meeting their country’s leader while abroad brought a touch of home to foreign soil. Belinda expressed how the experience made her feel closer to home, particularly amidst Singapore’s National Day Parade and the chance to meet President Prabowo. The students were grateful for the opportunity to meet and shake hands with President Prabowo and members of the Kabinet Merah Putih who were in attendance. Donata shared her happiness at meeting President Prabowo again, noting that it was a rare opportunity to meet a President in person. Another student mentioned that it was their first time meeting a President, making the experience even more memorable.
