Jakarta – Commander of the National Campaign Team (TKN) for young female voters cluster (Pink Fanta) Prabowo-Gibran, Suci Suaeb Saenong, expressed the importance of addressing the issue of stunting and empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for women. In an interview on the Pink Fanta Talk Show at TKN Fanta HQ Headquarters, Jakarta, on Sunday (24/12/2023) night, Suci emphasized that these two issues are the main focus of the presidential and vice-presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
“The deficiency in Indonesia is about the prevention of stunting that is not yet optimal. Then, the investment that enters Indonesia has an impact on us as MSME actors in the region. And this is what is promised by Mr. Prabowo and Mas Gibran to continue,” said Suci.
According to Suci, the stunting prevention program brought by Prabowo-Gibran has aspects of providing nutrition for pregnant women and providing free lunch and milk for school students and Islamic boarding school students. She believes that these steps will have a positive impact on women and MSME actors. “It is very impactful because it is a local product and will be purchased. Milk, eggs, are purchased from MSMEs in the area. Of course, the stalls are in demand, and that is very helpful in the region. Not only about MSMEs, but also the health of the people is guaranteed,” she explained.
Furthermore, Suci emphasized that Indonesia’s success in preparing a golden generation is in the hands of women. It is from the womb of women that children receive their first education. Therefore, Suci encourages women to choose the Prabowo-Gibran pair in the 2024 presidential election, because they have a work program that prioritizes women’s interests.
“In the general election, we know that female voters are larger than male voters in Indonesia. Programs to support women are available in candidate number 2. This is what we need to convey to women in Indonesia, that they should choose a candidate who prioritizes women,” she said firmly.
With these promises, Prabowo-Gibran seeks to attract the attention of female voters by offering concrete solutions to the problem of stunting and increasing empowerment of MSMEs, which are expected to have a positive impact on Indonesian women. (SENOPATI)
